Objectives

Ø To demonstrate the latest agricultural technologies to the farmers as well as to the extension workers.

 Ø To test and verify the technologies in the socio economic condition of the farmers with a view to study the production constrains and to modify the technology to make it appropriate.

 Ø To impart training to the practicing farmers farm women, Rural Youths and field level functionaries by following the method “Teaching by doing” and Learning by doing”.

Ø To back up with training and communication support to the district level line department functionaries in their extension programme.
